No Pity Parties

"Make peace with your past so it won't
screw up the present. Life is too short
for long pity parties."
         Anonymous

Have you ever found yourself blaming
your current circumstances on things
that you did in the past?

You beat yourself up over the 20 years
you wasted in a bad relationship or bad
job, and feel like your life would be so
much better if only....., if only.

Well, stop it! You can't change the past.
All you're doing is using the past as a
reason for not using the present to
create the future!

I know, we all like to play victim every
once in a while, but it's not very
productive. For every mistake in the
past there's a lesson that you learned
that you can use today.

Even if it's as simple as, "Don't do
that again!"

Everyone has things that they'd like
to do over but the world doesn't work
that way. Remember, it's a learning
experience.

So get the lesson and start working
on the future. What do you want to do,
be, or have?

Get a dream, set a goal, make a plan.
Then be relentless in making it a
reality.

And that's the outcome you want!

Many blessings,
Wes Hopper
